      Lol, it was a fluke thing – I couldn’t sleep!

      But yes, some things need to be started next month already. I think I’m going to have to build a shelf to hold more lights.

      Well, I haven’t grown many hybrids so I don’t know what I’m missing. I suspect I’ve dealt with more than my fair share of disease. As for the tomatoes, they’ve developed a problem the last two years. I’ve still taken in a decent harvest but I’d like to avoid the problems eventually. The sweet corn didn’t suffer from any disease but desperately needed some fertilizer or compost and it showed. That would have been the same with any corn though. The beans and peas did great, no difference at all. If I was having success with hybrids it would be hard to switch but I’m doing better every year so I’ll stick with the heirlooms.
