Website Launch

Okay, our website is live and online! Just in time to ring in the new year. I’ll be adding more content as we go but for the most part I’m happy with it. Please pop over, take a look, and let me know what you think. If it is slow loading, not easy to navigate, or you think the design sucks please tell me. Also, if you find any typos I’d love to know, I hate typos.
Okay, here goes…

Thank you, I’m so relieved that all the feedback is good. If you ever get up this way let us know! We’re pretty close to Frankenmuth and the Birch Run outlet mall, everyone wants to go there.

Your website looks great! i would like to try out some of your farm fresh eggs and chickens when they are available 🙂

    That looks great, Jena!

Would you ever consider doing farm tours for schools? Around here, they’re big in the fall and so many parents come that it’s a great way to spread the word about your farm. I bet it wouldn’t take too much to get a hayride going for the kids and let them meet all the animals. If you want details, ask my mom, she was the queen of fall tours before becoming a teacher.

That’s a great idea, thanks! I’ll have to talk to your Mom about it. Around here spring might be better, the kids might have more fun seeing the baby animals. But then again it is muddy and the weather is unpredictable. I’ll have to think about that one.

How cool! It looks great so far (what I’ve seen of it). You wanted to know about typos…so established is missing the “b” on your homepage. =)

It is cool! This will be fun. Well done. Could you email me, I have a question about something we talked about in the yarn store. Thanks

Hey Jena! Congrats on going high tech! I am sure Uncle Denny would have never imagined. Everything is looking great! We sure do miss you and Brian. Hopefully we can see each other soon, as for now we are braving the absolute and unusual freezing temps here in NC. The kids would love to visit the farm on our next visit back home to Michigan. Love you all lots and keep up the great work!

Lol, yeah I was told that this farm never really had animals on it before, nevermind so many! It is crazy that your weather is so cold. We have friends in Florida and they got snow! Anyway, great to hear from you!

Wow, Jena – it looks awesome! GREAT JOB!!

But I found a typo. On the eggs page – different is spelled wrong.

We currently have a small layer flock consisting of three diffrent heritage breeds

Oh good, can’t wait to see it! I looked at many other farm sites and took away what I liked. Now I’m working on our first newsletter. You’d be surprised how many crappy newsletters are out there. I think I have my work cut out for me!
